I’m James Cottam, a dedicated leader driven by a clear vision: to better enable Public Safety and address the recurring failings of private sector delivery in this space. This vision is embedded in the core service pillars of Futures Public Safety, where we strive to be a trusted leader, delivering sustainable, cost-effective, and high-impact outcomes.

I lead and oversee our core service provisions, with a proven track record of operating at local, regional, and national levels across government. My experience spans delivering tailored solutions through to managing major transformation programmes in some of the UK’s most sensitive environments.

Outside of work, you’ll often find me on the golf course, heading off on adventures, or exploring Yorkshire and beyond with my partner and two dogs, Rhubarb and Custard.

I’m Pete Bebee, and I lead candidate engagement and delivery within Futures’ Public Safety practice. My role is about bridging the gap between customer needs and candidate expertise, delivering a service that is both customer-centric and candidate-centric.

I work closely with security-cleared professionals across policing, national security, and secure government, providing a professional, transparent, and supportive experience. By putting candidates and customers at the heart of the process, I ensure the right expertise is in place at the right time – driving success for both individuals and organisations.

Outside of work, I’m a big music fan and can often be found at multiple venues across Leeds. A lifelong Arsenal supporter and cat owner, I enjoy bringing people together.
