Sanitation Manager

We are hiring for a Sanitation Manager role within a 57,000 sq. ft bakery facility with 20,000 sq. ft of newly added production space, making it one of the best-managed wholesale bakeries on the West Coast!

This is an exciting time to join a company currently undergoing a major transformation and growth phase.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead sanitation operations in a 57,000 sq. ft bakery facility.
• Oversee 20,000 sq. ft of newly added production space.
• Build and mentor a skilled sanitation team to meet company demands.
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, and Engineering to ensure best-in-class cleaning processes.
• Maintain the highest sanitation standards across raw dough, mixing, proofing, and baking zones.
• Manage processes around state-of-the-art equipment, incl. Koenig systems, spiral proofers, tunnel ovens, and conveyor systems.
• Be a key contributor in a $1M+ automation initiative to modernise operations and meet rising demand.
• Play a leadership role in building a scalable, food-safe, and high-performing environment.

What we’re looking for:

• Leadership experience in a bakery or dough-based manufacturing.
• Strong technical knowledge of bakery equipment and machinery.
• Proven ability to write SOPs and build systems from the ground up.
• Direct experience with mixers, raw dough prep, baking lines, and automated lines.
• A people-first leader who can mentor, train, and develop a team.
