Project Engineering Manager

We are currently hiring for a Project Engineering Manager within a well-established and rapidly growing global packaging company!

This is a high-impact role and an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineering professional with strong plastics and injection moulding experience, looking to drive major capital projects, optimise equipment performance, and play a key role in supporting maintenance excellence and process improvement across multiple manufacturing facilities.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead major capital projects and act as a technical resource for multiple plants.
• Evaluate new technologies and equipment for process improvements.
• Drive maintenance excellence initiatives and identify skill gaps in maintenance teams.
• Collaborate closely with Plant Managers, Engineers, and Technicians to improve productivity and equipment reliability.
• Ensure projects meet performance, schedule, and cost objectives.

What we’re looking for:

• BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Plastics preferred).
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience in the plastics industry.
• Strong background in injection moulding and profile extrusion.
• Hands-on experience with injection mould processing and troubleshooting.
• Project Management experience (budget, schedule, vendor management, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, automation, and PLCs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CAD, and project management tools.
