Are you a commercially savvy and results-driven account manager with a passion for beauty?
We’re seeking an exceptional National Account Manager to join a dynamic and fast-growing team, managing key retail accounts and driving presence across the UK market.
This company is a leading player in the beauty industry, known for innovation, high-performance products, and a deep understanding of what beauty consumers want. Their brand is stocked in top-tier retailers and loved by influencers and customers alike.
As they expand their UK presence, they’re looking for a driven individual to strengthen retailer relationships and maximise commercial performance.
What you’ll be doing:
You will take full ownership of a portfolio of national retail accounts (e.g. Boots, Superdrug, online pure players, or grocery), delivering growth through strategic planning, effective negotiation, and exceptional relationship management.
- Manage and grow national retail accounts, achieving sales and profitability targets.
- Develop annual joint business plans (JBPs) with key retailers.
- Lead seasonal and promotional planning, ensuring effective execution in-store and online.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance to deliver seamless service to accounts.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activity aligned with brand objectives.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience as a National Account Manager (3+ years), ideally within beauty, cosmetics, or FMCG.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrable success in managing and growing major UK retail accounts.
- Data-driven with a strategic mindset.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for the beauty industry and current market trends.
- Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
