Maintenance Supervisor

Are you a skilled Maintenance Supervisor with a strong background in dairy manufacturing?

We are looking for an experienced professional to join the team of a leading dairy company and oversee maintenance operations at their state-of-the-art dairy facility! This role is crucial for ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability of equipment to meet production demands.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of all dairy processing equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Monitor and maintain equipment in compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities.
• Track and manage maintenance budgets, focusing on cost-effective solutions and resource optimisation.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance skills and maintain a high level of performance.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to improve maintenance processes.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in the dairy industry.
• In-depth knowledge of dairy production equipment, processes, and standards.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) is a plus.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
