Maintenance Manager

We are currently hiring for a Maintenance Manager to join a leading baked goods food manufacturing facility!

In this role, you will lead all maintenance operations, direct a high-performing team of Supervisors and Technicians, while driving equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency, to ensure seamless support of large-scale production.

What you’ll be doing:

• Hands-on leadership in bakery equipment and automated systems maintenance.
• Advanced troubleshooting and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Driving reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) and minimising downtime.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Implementing cost-effective maintenance solutions and budget control.
• Supporting Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Team training and professional development in technical and leadership areas.

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years of food manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of machinery/equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Effective organisational, leadership, and project management skills.
• Proven ability to make quick, sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and operational standards (OSHA, FDA, etc.).
• Proactive, forward-thinking mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
