Are you a relationship-builder with a passion for toys and a knack for retail strategy?

We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to join a fun, fast-paced, and growing toy company to manage and expand key UK retail accounts.

This company is a leading name in the toy industry, bringing smiles to families across the UK with their innovative, high-quality, and much-loved product ranges. From classic play to cutting-edge licensed toys, their portfolio spans generations.

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be responsible for driving commercial success across a defined portfolio of national and regional retailers. You’ll work closely with buying teams, internal stakeholders, and marketing to deliver strategic growth, seasonal launches, and standout in-store execution.

  • Manage and develop key retail accounts, delivering against sales targets and growth objectives.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with retail buyers and category managers.
  • Develop and execute account plans, including promotional strategies and new product introductions.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional terms, and trading agreements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and operations to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Represent the business at key industry events, toy fairs, and customer meetings.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in key account management, ideally within toys, consumer goods, or FMCG.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating with major UK retailers.
  • Energetic, personable, and passionate about the toy industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong Excel and forecasting skills.
  • Comfortable travelling across the Midlands and nationally when required.
  • Full UK driving licence.
