Futures Manufacturing are currently looking to appoint a number of MIG Welder Fabricators for a very busy family run Company who are looking to grow.
This is a full time permanent position.
The successful applicant will join the team of welder platers, welding a wide variety of components, mainly in mild steel using MIG welding equipment.
The components will range from small piece part components to large hoppers and tipper bodies for commercial vehicles.

On offer is a day shift role working Monday to Thursday 8.00am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm 39 hours per week.
A night shift role working 4 nights Monday to Thursday 6.00pm to 6.00am 44 hours per week
Overtime may be also available and some flexible working.
Role Objective:
To weld and fabricate mild steel products or components both with, and without the aid of a drawing.

The main duties will be:
To execute the shop floor build schedule in a timely and productive manner
To operate all manual equipment required to complete any aspect of the role within the set environment
To build products and parts to the required standard and identify any variances in quality so that the necessary corrections are implemented
Welder/Fabricator/MIG/Sheetmetal/mild steel/vehicle/fabrication
To highlight any problems and work with the necessary people to implement short and long term solutions for cell assumingly and plant/factory operations
Be prepared to undertake and maintain required certification for tasks such as all welding, all appropriate verification works etc.
To continuously strive to identify improvements and any efficiency savings that will make the Company more productive and affective
The successful person will have the following skills:
Possess a good industrial knowledge relevant to best practice of all manual activities and tasks, with training & development support where required
Remains calm and focussed when working in a pressurised and fast-paced environment
Welder/Fabricator/MIG/Sheetmetal/mild steel/vehicle/fabrication
A positive & enthusiastic team member with a ‘can do’ attitude, who feels equally confident working independently
Sees Health & Safety in the workplace as high priority and leads by example to continually improve safety focus in everything they do
1-3 years prior experience of MIG welding of large mild steel fabrications in a production environment, with the ability to read and understand engineering drawings
