About the role


Futures Manufacturing are looking to appoint a Production Test Operative with a leading manufacturer to the oil and gas exploration and production industries worldwide.

Job Description:

A key member of the Production Team the successful applicant will be responsible for testing a wide range of PCAs and systems diagnosing and fixing errors as necessary.

Experience:
The successful candidate must have a good working knowledge of electrical and electronic systems,
production level testing, and demonstrate strong debug skills.
Ability to read and understand electronic/electrical circuit diagrams, and fault finding to component level is highly advantageous.
It is expected that the applicant has at least three years of hands-on testing experience with systems, wiring, through-hole and surface
mount PCAs, and be mechanically dextrous.

Appropriate education to HNC, HND level is expected but lessor qualifications and/or robust experience levels shall be considered.
Candidates must be resourceful and a team player with an ability to rapidly adapt to the everyday requirements of a busy production
environment with tight timescales.
The ideal candidate should also be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of the requirements of the ATEX Directive would be useful but is not essential.
