A successful industrial engineering business in West Yorkshire is looking to appoint a driven and ambitious External Sales Manager to develop its client base within any of the following sectors; Petrochem, Refinery, Chemical or Power Generation.
The company is well-funded and operates from state-of-the-art premises close to the M62!
The ideal candidate will have experience with flow control equipment and will be able to read engineering drawings. A mechanical engineering qualification would be a distinct advantage.
The Role:
– Customer and Prospect liaison for site visits
– Achieving sales value to agreed targets
– Identifying and developing new business
– Producing sales strategy reports for your industry
– Preparation of sales call plans
– Preparation of sales call reports
– Sales reporting to Operations
– Customer entertainment and attending industry events to promote the service
– Accurate sales forecasting
– Front end contract reviews
– Assist with longer-term business planning
Your experience/skills:
– Prior experience in a sales role for an industrial engineering business
– Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
– Excellent computer skills
– UK driving Licence
– Ability to work independently and plan your own diary
