Manufacturing Futures is looking to appoint a Technical Manager for our client who manufactures performance driven clothing garments and distributes globally. The successful candidate will understand material blends suitable for various industries and international compliance. An understanding of supply chain and projects is also advantageous.
Technical Manager / Performance Clothing / PPE / Textiles / Global Compliance / Supply Chain
The ideal candidate:
* Drive inspection process and technique improvements and participate in problem solving activities
* Maintaining good working practices throughout the business
* Ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with good manufacturing practices
* Identification, containment and documentation of all defective/non-conforming product. Raising non-conformances as required
* Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
* Understand international standards and regulations
* A background in performance driven clothing garments.
* Must have experience supporting supply chain in sourcing new materials.
* Advantageously hold ISO 9001 Certification
* Demonstrate and understanding for improving manufacturing techniques
* Experience inspecting material and component parts
