Our client is a specialist electronics engineering design and manufacturing business based in Manchester!
They wish to appoint a Systems Engineer to join their growing team. As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the requirements and technical definition of complex engineering solutions for their highly regulated market.
The products you will help create are expected to support the industry into the next generation. You will work throughout the full system life cycle from defining customer requirements, and developing System Specifications, to reliability, availability, maintenance, safety and system disposal. You will have an opportunity to work in many areas of the systems life cycle expanding your capability in many new and exciting projects.
Your main weekly activities will focus on new and/or existing developments. This will include but is not limited to:
• Systems Concept and design
• Requirements Management
• Documentation
• System Verification and Standards compliance
• Provide feedback to the project management team
• Additional project delivery tasks e.g. test planning, experiment design, fault analysis etc.
• Additional tasks to support design for reliability and product acceptance
• At times you may be called upon to aid in the production testing of equipment and at times support in resolving customer enquiries for existing products.
