Futures are looking to appoint an apprentice trained or time served CNC Machinist for our client who is a leading European manufacturer and a global supplier of Standard Parts, Machine Accessories, and Work holding Components with a long history and an impressive pedigree.
Experienced CNC Turner with a good understanding of Fanuc controllers ” who is open to progression and further training” in order to progress to Production Engineer level in a relatively short time
You will be based in a modern manufacturing facility in Leeds on a day shift Mon to Fri, working hours are 6:30-3:30 Monday -Thursday and 6:30 -11:30 am Friday

Program CNC lathes from engineering drawings
Set and operate a variety of CNC lathes
Machine one offs, small and large batch parts
Work from engineering drawings

Skills and experience:
Experience in Programming and setting CNC lathes from engineering drawings
Knowledge and experience of Fanuc controls
Ability to work alone and with others
Can inspect own work
A broad experience within a precision engineering company
Flexible with a can-do approach to work
