Manufacturing Futures is looking to recruit a Site Surveyor for our client who design manufacture and install products across the country for both the public and private sector. The role will require the successful candidate to travel from site to site across the midlands and the south so a full driving license is required.
We are looking for somebody who can work independently and travel from client to client preparing estimations from surveys that have been completed by yourself. This will include the material costs and labour. The successful candidate must also have a high level of social skills with the ability to build relationships with clients and maximise sales opportunities.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Working with the Project Managers to ensure full site surveys have been completed
Ability to read and understand drawings
Work closely with sales estimator generating accurate quotations
Provide a quality service with the clients budget and timeframes in mind
Ability to use ERP systems
High level communicator working closely with the client
Ensure the survey matches with the drawings.

The ideal candidate:
Experience within the construction or engineering sector
2-3 years minimum surveying experience
Ability to understand drawings
Experience with Microsoft excel
Understanding of MRP systems
Strong attention to detail
