About the role

Futures Manufacturing are looking to appoint Skilled and Experienced Service Technicians within the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Sector

The installation and Service Division installs HVAC and refrigeration equipment into a variety of applications. A very flexible service and maintenance solution allows engineers to provide planned maintenance , repair and emergency breakdown cover.

Maintenance/Service/Repair/Trouble Shooting/Diagnostics/Mechanical/Electrical/Commercial/Industrial/Refrigeration/Air-Conditioning/

As a skilled Engineer, your responsibility will be to carry out maintenance, service, repair and technical fault finding including diagnostics and system problems on large commercial and Industrial refrigeration systems.

The Ideal Candidate:

Strong written and verbal communication
Works in a logical and safe manner
A Planner who is organised, working to tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
Flexible, working overtime and on the call out rota, happy travelling to different sites and working away
Has an inquisitive mind, able to solve problems, taking a balanced view.

Minimum of 5 Years hands on as a service Engineer. Mechanical and Electrical installation of refrigeration and AC systems
Experience with piston, screw and centrifugal compressors.
Working knowledge of environment and H & S Regs and EC directives.
C & G F-Gas 2079 and safe handling of Ammonia Cert.
Experience with HCFC, HFC and NH3 refrigerants including Health and safety awareness.
Diagnostics including system design problems.

Knowledge of PC and PLC based controls and instrumentation
Knowledge and experience of electrical safety Regs, control and power circuits 110v and 415v
