About the role


Due to retirement, we are currently recruiting for a Service Manager for the Leeds branch of this company who supply to utilities companies and the energy sector. With a stellar reputation this is an opportunity to join a people centric business.
The Service Manager will take overall control of the performance of 35 Engineers through 3 Supervisors who run day to day things. The Service Manager will be concerned more with strategic planning than day to day supervision.

Service Manager/ Power/Water/Oil/Gas/Flow Control

Responsibilities:
Performance management of the UK service department.
Coaching and mentoring Supervisory staff
Staff motivation
Budget, Forecasting and P+L responsibility
Strategic planning
Customer visits (>10%)
Recruitment of staff

Education, Skills and experience:
At least 5 years at Service Manager level
Strong electro/mechanical knowledge
High level of commercial awareness
Strong PC skills on common Microsoft Office packages
Exposure to ERP/MRP systems
Experienced in budget preparation and forecasting
Strong organisational skills.
