We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Engineer to join our Applications Team, providing technical solutions, working closely with sales team, and conducting commissioning and training services to our worldwide client in research and process industry. Mandarin speaking is essential for the job to support ITS China opportunities. Sponsorship is available where required.
As a key player you will be highly motivated, equip with problem solving mind-set, and have the ability to work in an evolving fast-paced environment. You will be confident, either as a team or working on your own initiative and have the ability to work under pressure. Sponsorship is available for this role which might suit a Phd Researcher with commercial experience.

– Becoming a technical specialist in electrical tomography systems
– Providing technical consultancy and helping sales team to provide technical solutions to a worldwide process industry,
with a focus on China opportunities
– Assisting the manufacturing, testing and delivering of projects and reporting to Operation Manager
– Conducting feasibility studies and R&D experiments in new application areas
– Providing commissioning support and training to end-users, travelling on site is required.
– Giving technical demos across a wide range of process applications
– Performing demonstrations of the solution and providing technical support to customers, through training and technical
problem solving
Background & Skills
– Electrical, chemical or process engineering academic background
– An electronic systems background would be useful
– Experienced in technical support or applications engineering
– Fluent in speaking, reading and writing in Mandarin and English (This is Essential)
– Independent thinking and good problem-solving skills
– Able to communicate at all levels from high institution researchers to industry field service engineers
– Strong work ethic and flexible mindset
– Team player
– A methodical approach to research projects with high levels of attention to detail
– Confident interpersonal skills
– Full UK Driving or International License
