About the role


Location: London, Office and School/College based

£300 per day, Inside IR35

We are working with a London Borough to appoint an interim Senior Curriculum Manager for an immediate start.

Working within the Employment, Skills and Enterprise directorate, you’ll be responsible for some of the Adult curriculum and Learning Community provision.

Key requirements of the role:

• To lead the development of a new adults/community curriculum, including coaching and line-management of other programme leaders.

• To develop and manage a range of curriculum offerings at all levels, including the vocational and employability programmes, in a wide variety of community learning environments.

• To oversee the progress of courses so that they reflect the analysis of need, of local residents and the labour market.

• To be responsible for the quality monitoring and improvement of curriculum programmes, including teaching and learning standards.

• To be responsible for the performance framework for courses, working closely with support of the Quality Manager and MIS team.

• To be responsible for the Curriculum Self-Assessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP), providing clarity of requirement inputs and lines of accountability from Programme Leaders.

• To identify and deliver service innovations that support the quality of teaching and learning and outcomes of learners.

To be successful, you will need to be an experienced Curriculum Manager within Further Education, ideally with SEND/ESOL/ ASL course management experience.
