We are working with an exciting manufacturing business to assist them in their search for an SAP Materials Management Consultant!
In this role, you will analyse business problems that can be solved with SAP and provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing cost-effective systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
– Translate user requests into application system solutions.
– Analyse system user requirements to define and design system configuration, enhancements, and modifications.
– Resolve business issues by working with various groups within the company (ie. system users, company management, consultants, and software support staff).
– Work in multidisciplinary teams to define and design complex processes and procedures for the configuration, upgrade, and maintenance of SAP and related application systems.
– Define requirements for specific forms/reports.
– Design test plans, execute test scenarios, validate test data, document test results, coordinate end-user training documentation and train end users as required.
– Travel, to MX and/or the US, around 20% of the working time, according to the project’s phases to be managed on-site – around 80% of the working time will be remote.
Your Necessary Experience:
– 4/5 years MM experience.
– Proven understanding of applications, system usage, and experience with SAP S/4HANA.
– Be able to configure the module assigned at a project level.
– Good project (SAP roll-outs/implementations) experience in the main project phases (assessment, configuration and development, user training and test, data migration, and user support).
– English and Spanish language.
– Knowledge of SAP best practices.
– Ability to interact with all organisation levels and manage tasks with minimum supervision.
