We are currently working with an industry leading engineering business, who is actively seeking a Sales Representative to join their expanding business!
This exciting opportunity involves expanding their already extensive customer base through proactive lead generation, market mapping, market research and outbound sales calls. You will make the first point of contact with the customer, establish an initial relationship and inform them about the capabilities of the business. The aim of this role is to get customers on-board who could be interested in the service they provide, before handing over to the technical BDM’s who will manage the process from there on out.
This role would suit anyone who has external sales experience in any sector. You don’t need to have worked in engineering! Full training on the businesses and what they do will be provided. You need to be confident, determined and enjoy been on the phone. On offer is a competitive basic salary, commission structure and future opportunities to move into an account management or external BDM role.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
– Establishing a target list to generate new leads.
– Building relationships with new clients
– Utilising CRM, cold calls, email, and LinkedIn to generate new sales opportunities.
– Qualifying those leads as sales opportunities.
– Conducting market research on potential clients
– Market mapping calls
Your Skills and Abilities:
– Prior experience in a high-volume outbound sales, recruitment or customer service role
– Experience of using social media to establish prospective customers
– Excellent communication and negotiation
– Confident, determined and ambitious person who wants to progress
