About the role

Manufacturing Futures is looking to appoint a Sales Manager to work for our client who manufacture testing equipment predominantly for the food industry. We are looking for somebody who can develop new accounts and maintain relationships with key customers. You will travel to customer sites to meet with the customer and introduce new products, negotiate prices and build relationships, so someone who can work on their own initiative is a must.

Roles / Responsibilities:
Identify key accounts and maintain existing relationships
Provide excellent customers service/support
Meeting sales / margin targets set by the National Sales Manager
Generate sales proposals
Ability to demonstrate information and machine capabilities at the request of the client
Ability to work within a team or autonomously
Experience within the food sector or electro mechanical equipment is advantageous
3-5 years of B2B sales experience within the UK & Ireland
Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
Someone with lots of enthusiasm and can hit the ground running
On occasions there maybe some requirements to stay over night or work late to get the job done.
