Futures are looking to appoint a Sales Application Engineer with a well established Company based in Halifax.
The role would suit someone with a background or qualification in Engineering. Any work experience based around sales, design or production engineering is beneficial.

To prepare technical quotations and proposals to the required deadlines and quality standards.
To provide a high standard of technical support to the sales team in the preparation of quotations and specifications.

Job Responsibilities
To ensure that the sales team are supported by completing and assisting with the preparation of quotations, costings technical specifications and supporting literature.
To work with clients and interpret the requirements from GA drawings and produce in Solidworks new layouts incorporating best fabrication practices.
Provide a high quality service to customers and maintain the Companies reputation.
To act as an interface between sales and the engineering team and to provide a high standard of technical support

Knowledge and Experience
Preferably qualified to degree level in an engineering discipline
Previous experience in a similar role
A good knowledge of fabrication methods
Lean manufacturing principles

Ideally a Full UK driving License
HNC or equivalent in Engineering
Any Production, design and sales experience
Commutable to Halifax
