Sales Account Manager

I’m working with a leading packaging organisation based in the UK with a strong presence internationally. The successful Sales Account Manager must have experience working within a consumer goods sales role (packaging/food/drink/Cosmetics) would be highly advantageous.
This is a superb opportunity to join a genuine market leader They have number of manufacturing facilities in the UK.
The successful National Account Manager can either work from site or home depending on the individuals circumstances or location. You be required to generate new business and new accounts, alongside maintaining existing relationships. You will be selling a truly unique and exciting packaging solutions with a focus on the alcohol marketplace.
You will be required to provide high levels of customer services and have the ability to demonstrate superb account management skills in order to maximise revenue. The key will be proven that you should be their preferred glass packaging supplier.
National Account Manager Responsibilities:
-Strategic planning to maximise sales
-Winning new business through telephone or/and face to face sales
-Improve and maintain existing business relationships
-Liaison with New Product Development team to ensure products meet customer needs
-Be a an expert in all matters relating to the customers that you manage
-Support Customers Service and Quality Management to resolve and issues/complaints from customers
-Strong negotiation skills
The successful National Account Manager will need to be a motivated and determined sales person with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. You will be able to demonstrate strong selling and communication skills and be able to make key strategic decisions.
