The Sales Account Manager is set within the Food & Nutrition business, promoting and selling a portfolio of flavours, and will support the continuing growth of the business.
You will build strong relationships with existing customers, but most of all will enjoy winning new customers and getting them excited about the flavours and colours portfolio!
With your technical know-how you will ensure that appropriate solutions are developed for and with customers in order to expand the market penetration.

TASKS & RESPONSIBLITIES
• Responsibility for all business development activities related to the flavour and colour business in the relevant market sector
• Development of new potentials for flavours & colours in Germany for existing customers
• New customer acquisition with exciting activities for flavours & colorants
• Definition and implementation of market strategy incl. coordination of annual budgets for own areas
• Market and competition monitoring, identification of new business opportunities
• Deepening the knowledge of flavours, extracts and colorants based on the supplier portfolio
• Regular customer visits and calls, both directly and together with other sales colleagues
• Report maintenance and documentation in the CRM system (Salesforce)
• Represent the company at potential and existing suppliers, customers, trade shows, conferences, etc.
• Provide technical support to customers in the development of new formulations and applications
WHAT YOU BRING
• Experience in the flavour and/or colorant industry.
• Strong experience in the overall food and nutrition industry
• Fluent German & English – essential
• “Hunter” mentality with a drive to meet and exceed goals
• Sales/business development experience with a track record of identifying business needs and creating appropriate solutions
• Experience performing analysis in both commercial and technical areas
• Team player with a friendly demeanour
• Technical, scientific or commercial degree
• Project management experience
• High level of commitment, independent and structured way of working as well as solution orientation
• Excellent communication skills, strong negotiation skills and a strong focus on results
• Willingness to travel regularly
