Due to extensive growth they are expanding and recruiting for a Quality Systems Technologist.

You will be responsible for setting up new quality standards as well as measuring and reporting adherence to the standards and highlighting non conformances to be resolved. Supporting the day to day running of Quality systems in line with our site standards. Working collaboratively with Technical, NPD and Operations to ensure processes are followed and standards adhered to.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Assist in the setting up of a new set of quality standards.
Ensure compliance with all appropriate quality standards.
Construct a monthly set of reports on adherence to quality standards which highlight issues to be resolved.
Management of the Quality manual (electronic and hard copies).
Management of recipe updates (full ownership with Technical Manager).
Supports quality improvement projects (e.g. quality specs).
Supports Consumer Care with complaints trend reporting and consumer letter writing.
Input the Certificate Of Analysis (C of A) data from ingredient suppliers in to the Company databases within a timely manner.
Supports the team with external audits e.g. BRC and Customer audits.
Monitors and files process records.
Carry out internal quality audits.
Support the other members of the technical team where extra technical resource / support is required during busy periods/ periods of absence where required e.g. helping to analyse and respond to consumer complaints.

Qualifications and Experience:
Experience of working within the food industry with good working knowledge of food safety, quality and H&S standards.
HACCP is desirable.
Good technical understanding of manufacturing process and plant is desirable.
Great problem-solving skills with a flexible and reliable approach to work.
Strong Computer literacy
Strong communication skills.
Able to build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders.
High attention to detail.
Able to manage and prioritise deadlines.
