About the role

A fantastic opportunity as arisen for an Quality Manager to join a leading, manufacturing organisation in west Yorkshire as an Assistant Quality Manager.

The candidate will need to have experience working within a large manufacturing facility that operates 24 hours per day.

The successful Quality Manager will be passionate, articulate and professional with the key skills to drive quality assurance throughout all aspects of the manufacturing process within the business.

You will be located in West Yorkshire where you will support the Site Quality Manager.

Quality Manager duties

-Responsible for a team of Quality Control experts
-Responsible for the ensuring quality standards are set throughout the business
-Ensure that quality methods are clearly defined
-Ensure quality standards are applied at all times within the business
-Ensure sustained quality in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and BRC IPO standards
-Maintain and build professional customer relationships

The Quality Manager will have:

-Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
-Ability to demonstrate fantastic understanding of quality control
-Ability to lead on continuous improvement projects with the knowledge, skills and confidence to implement change
-Degree quality in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Quality Management)
-Fantastic communication skills
-Ability to lead a team of employees
-Fantastic communication skills
