We work alongside one of the world’s leading developers of Flow Assurance technology for the Energy, Petrochem, Utilities and Pharmaceutical markets, which is looking to expand its team with an experienced Quality Engineer in Leeds!
This role offers the opportunity to become a key member of the Quality Department to facilitate the growth and robustness of the quality activities within the Leeds Factory.
Reporting to the QHS Manager and working with the wider Quality Team, you will have the responsibility for driving excellence in product quality and internal processes. Overseeing supplier management and applying problem-solving techniques to resolve customer issues, a big part of your role will be proactive involvement in customer care!
You will work with operations and engineering you develop effective processes and procedures to ensure adherence to quality standards and will execute audits to determine compliance.
Your Qualifications/Experience Required:
– Demonstrable relevant quality experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
– Proven experience of Quality System Requirements (ISO9001 essential)
– Excellent internal audit experience
– Can demonstrate success in applying continuous improvement tools within an operations function
– Works effectively to manage time ensuring maximum productivity at all times
– Supports and encourages positive working behaviours in others during task fulfilment.
– Able to balance the short-term focus on results with longer-term interests.
– Adaptable and able to cope with the unexpected, and manage issues effectively.
