About the role

Manufacturing Futures is looking to recruit a Quality Engineer for one of Yorkshire’s most well-established manufacturing businesses. The successful Quality Engineer will be responsible for internal audits within the business looking at goods in, goods out and internal processes. Our client is very open to change, so it’s important the successful person can implement new processes and quality improvement strategies to improve the general day-to-day quality function of the business. On top of a great package is a clear progression plan. Our client genuinely cares about their employees and is renowned for their staff retention.

Roles & Responsibilities:
– Experience in internal auditing
– Auditing goods in and goods out
– Quality inspection of goods
– Working closely with internal and external stakeholders ensuring standards are met
– Collating data to interpret and utilise to improve systems.
– Analyse current processes and look to adapt/improve them
– Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
– Strong understanding of health and safety

Qualifications & Experience:
– Experience in internal audits
– Understanding of a warehouse environment
– High-level communicator
– Experience developing quality systems
– Strong visual inspection ability
