About the role


We are working with a growing manufacturer who are looking to appoint a QHSE Engineer. This is a fast paced hands on role where you will work closely with the shop floor staff to improve processes and way’s of working throughout the business. You must be a confident problem solver with a good understanding of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing techniques.

The role will be to assist with any quality non-conformances and health and safety incidents, carrying out QHSE inductions for new starters and monitoring training matrixes. The successful candidate will be able to establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training and systems to help ensure all responsibilities associated with QHSE. Roles and responsibilities
– QHSE Officer Quality Environmental Health Safety
– Assisting with investigating with regards to non conformances and health and safety incidents and propose corrective and preventive action.
– Control training of new starters
– Assisting with audits and client evaluations
– Maintain equipment calibration registers
– Filing of H&S Documentation

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience Requirements QHSE Officer Quality Environmental Health Safety
-Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
-Basic knowledge of ISO9000, ISO13485, UK Health and Safety requirements.
-Good level of IT literacy competent with Microsoft Excel.
-Attention to detail and thorough approach to record keeping and data entry.
-Good organisational skills.
-Eager to learn/develop (can do attitude).
-Able to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
