About the role

We are currently recruitng for a 2019 Queens Award winning business in Leeds who are looking to employ an additional Project Manager to their team.
The Project Manager will have responsibility for projects from receipt of slaes order to client handover; there will be some site visits required so candidate should be prepared to spend the odd night away from home. A background in shop fitting, retail fit out or similar site installations would be an advantage.

Role and Acoountability:
– Work within the Projects Team to achieve all planned delivery and installation timescales on or before due dates, providing
clear direction to the installation team and working with the Project Coordinator to assign work appropriately and fairly.
– Understand the Companys commitment to Health & Safety and ensure that policies, procedures and safe methods of work
are always followed to safeguard site-based colleagues and customers.
– Take responsibility for ensuring the engineering team work to, and within, the agreed Scope of Works, avoiding project cost
overruns and ensuring variation orders are obtained prior to carrying out any additional, unplanned works on site.
– Conduct appropriate handover from Sales to Projects on all project-related orders, reviewing contract specifications and
confirming material/resource requirements.
– Upon receipt of new works/sales orders into the installations department, identify any variations to initial contracts during
site-based visits/activity, recording agreed changes and advising the relevant stakeholders.
– Upon receipt of new works into the projects department, review sales order and installation site should be undertaken and
any additional materials or changes to the materials requirements should be actioned with the projects team. This should
form part of the handover from sales process.
– Manage large site projects from pre-start and induction through to completion, commissioning and handover. Participate in
appropriate site meetings and ensure the on-site engineering team maintain continuity of work.
– Establish a process of data collation of all installed Company equipment, incorporating site specific information (e.g.
commissioning date and serial numbers etc.)
