Our client is an established manufacturer and installer of dust and fume extraction systems for industry, these are used in a wide variety of environments from Flour Mills to furniture manufacturers. The one thing they have in common is the level of service given to customers by the company.
To further support their small team they are looking to appoint a Contracts/Project Engineer to ensure the installation happens safely, on time and on budget. Work is carried out UK wide so candidates must be prepared to travel.
Contracts Manager/Project/Engineer/Air Handling/Ductwork/Extraction/HVAC/Acoustics/AutoCAD
Duties:
Attend site to liaise with the customer on the installation route and finalise measurements.
Liaise with suppliers of specialist equipment such as lifting gear, scaffold, cherry pickers etc
Produce installation drawings using AutoCAD (2D)
Undertake RAMS and other formal reports for legal compliance and health and safety
Liaise with installation teams to ensure they understand additional requirements where necessary.
You:
At least 3 years’ experience of project management
Highly literate with IT systems and able to use AutoCAD for simple drawings
Great organisational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work under pressure and think outside of the box
Background in a similar industry
