Manufacturing Futures is looking to recruit a Project Design Engineer to work for one of the largest businesses in Europe within their respected field. Our client has seen substantial growth since the pandemic finished and is looking to expand their team. The ideal candidate is someone who can generate electrical schematics needed for control panel wiring and travel to various clients in the north commissioning and carrying out site surveys.

You will wear many hats and be responsible for producing 2D drawings and site layouts. It may also require some travel so a full driving license is a necessity.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Onsite Commissioning of PLC systems
Managing some project work and coordinating with manager ensuring that tasks are up to date
Ability to travel as and when needed
Produce 2D drawings with AutoCAD

The ideal candidate:
Electrical engineering qualification
PLC Software design experience
Manufacturing or engineering background.
