Our client, an R&D focused electronics industry focused business in West Yorkshire, seek to appoint an experienced Programme Manager to lead their projects and design team. Comfortable leading project design teams with a keen eye for detail the appointed Programme Manager will run a number of R&D projects, appropriately liaising with internal departments, ranging from minor modifications taking a few weeks to brand new designs taking up to 2 years. The appointed Programme Manager will receive be joining a business that gives them every tool to succeed in a supportive atmosphere alongside a role working with cutting edge technology and some of the best engineers in industry.

* Manage full project life cycle of complex and long-term design projects
* Co-ordinate engineering resources to deliver successful projects on-time and on-budget
* Chair project meetings, gate reviews and design reviews
* Internal project champion. Facilitate better communication between departments and liaise with individual departments to ensure adherence to project timescales
Programme Manager – Skills and Experiences – Project Manager / Defence / Aerospace / Automotive / Electronics / Technology / Security Cleared
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project or programme manager role
* Experience of leading development and R&D project teams
* Prior experience working for an R&D focused electronics business preferred but not essential
* Ability to organise and plan. Well organised with a keen eye for detail
* Prince 2 beneficial
* Familiarity with Microsoft Project (or another project management tool)
