Our client operates in an always interesting and constantly evolving market and are well established in their field. We have been asked to recruit a Programme Director to run a number of technology enabled digital transformation programmes of work, with many being based around SAP, for a long term and continuous contract Programme Management role. The focus of this role will be using package based products, mostly SAP, however you will also be expected to deliver custom developed solutions, business change projects, project audits and assurance reviews. Your role will be to set the agenda for group-wide transformation projects, drive performance throughout your teams, and regularly report back to the board on progress.

* Take responsibility for all aspects of digital transformation programme management; holding accountability for project delivery to cost, time and quality parameters
* Develop client relationships at senior management level and influence at board level
* Work with multiple stakeholders to ensure value is delivered from the business transformations your projects enable, and that ‘on the ground’ users see benefits
* Use your expertise and experience to contribute to the development of method and expanding the knowledge base of existing staff

* Experience of IT package implementations, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and/or large custom builds, ideally including eCommerce, definitely including SAP
* Demonstrable programme management experience in digital transformation, including proven experience of managing programmes of work that can involve thousands of budgeted days from a large pool of directly engaged contractors
* Excellent people management and leadership experience, with a proven ability to motivate and lead multi disciplined teams
* Prince2 Qualified / Project management formal qualification preferred
* Stakeholder management and relationship management
