We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading food manufacturer. Here at Futures, we are looking for a Production Team Leader due to continued growth and expansion of the company.
4 on 4 off (DAYS)
Reporting into the Production Shift Manager you will be involved in looking after the designated area operations to maintain and develop a safe working environment and culture of continuous improvement and to plan and manage activity in order to fulfil customer order, quality and service requirement.
Key responsibilities;
Help organise and implement the daily production activities, ensuring that all procedures are followed and understood by the team
Ensure best manufacturing standards are maintained at all times.
Carry out the responsibilities of a Production Supervisor in accordance with recognised legal and ethical standards, and in line with specific company policy for Health and Safety, Environment, Social and Ethical responsibility
To ensure that all equipment used in the factory is in a serviceable condition
To manage and motivate staff to build an effective production team
Successful Production Team Leader will be;
Previous experience of working within a food manufacturing environment
Experience of running production and quality management systems
Lean Manufacturing Qualifications / Experience
A strong leader
Excellent communication skills
Working well under pressure
