We are delighted to be working with a very well-established Food Manufacturing business in the Cumbria area. Due to various expansions and growth, the site is currently looking for a Production Planner to join their already accomplished and established planning team!
Reporting to a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for managing the scheduling and timelines of the production process to ensure the company meets deadlines.
Your Responsibilities:
– Managing material and equipment availability.
– Scheduling production and monitoring the production process problems.
– Maintaining stock targets and scheduling raw materials to meet the production plan.
– Ensuring medium to long-term forecasts are maintained.
– Updating the schedules to include the latest sales information and production plans.
– Following up with supplies regarding quality issues, rejections and returns.
You will have:
– Previous experience within a planning role ideally within a manufacturing setting.
– Basic to moderate experience with SAP.
– Strong MS Office Skills.
– High organisational skills, being able to prioritise tasks.
– Strong attention to detail.
