Futures has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Production Manager on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ food manufacturer that is well-known in the market for their great tasting products!
You will lead a highly experienced and skilled manufacturing team consisting of 3 Area Managers, as well as overseeing Team Leaders and Operatives, to deliver sustainable processes resulting in quality products being manufactured safely at the lowest cost.
Key Duties Include:
– Line Management of three Area Managers across the four shift patterns – set stretching attainable goals
– Accountable for all ‘People’ processes within the area of responsibility
– Accountable for all aspects of training and developing teams; working to identify skills gaps and develop training plans
– Accountable for recruitment, staff movements and succession planning
– Accountable for creating a positive culture to foster good morale and good working conditions for staff
Key Skills and Experienced Required:
– Experience within food manufacturing at a Production Manager level
– Line management experience to include performance management and development
– Computer literate and competent in the use of Microsoft applications
– Food Safety Level 3 minimum – desired
– IOSH Managing Safely – desired
