We have an exciting opportunity available for a leading food manufacturer. Here at Futures, we are looking for a Production Manager due to continued growth within a very successful, but growing food facility.. They are looking for a driven candidate who wants to progress within the business.
Reporting into the Factory Manager you will be involved in looking after the site operations to maintain and develop a safe working environment and culture of continuous improvement and to plan and manage activity in order to fulfil customer order, quality and service requirement.
Shift – 4 on 4 off (DAYS)
Key responsibilities;
Organising the daily production activities, ensuring that all procedures are followed and understood by the team
Ensure best manufacturing standards are maintained at all times.
Carry out the responsibilities of a Production Manager in accordance with recognised legal and ethical standards, and in line with specific company policy for Health and Safety, Environment, Social and Ethical responsibility
To ensure that all equipment used in the factory is in a serviceable condition
To manage and motivate staff to build an effective production team
Successful Production Managers will be;
Previous experience of working within a food manufacturing environment
Experience of running production and quality management systems
Lean Manufacturing Qualifications / Experience
A strong leader
Excellent communication skills
Working well under pressure
