Manufacturing Futures is looking to appoint a production engineer to work for our client in the North West who specialise in cutting edge technology. The successful candidate will work within the production team but have a strong background in mechanical engineering particularly analysing processes, product improvement and design reviews.
Production Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Mechatronics Production Engineer / Continuous Improvement / Siemens NX
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Implementing continuous improvement strategies using 5s and Kaizen.
-Finding the root cause to problems that arise
-Experience of mechanical design utilising Siemens NX, Ansys or similar.
-Experience in mechanical engineering and advantageously electrical engineering
-Ability to create work instructions and SOPs.
-Experience in the manufacture of electro mechanical assemblies and high volume environments.
-Develop product test and reliability specifications

Qualifications:
-Qualification in Mechanical engineering
-Demonstrate knowledge of continuous improvements such as 5s and kaizen.
-Experience in production engineering.
