My client, with sites in various locations around the world is looking to recruit an experienced Production Engineer for their lucrative site based in Kent. This is a magnificent opportunity to join a unique manufacturing company that operates in a specialist luxury, electrical market. This factory is extremely impressive with potentially to be even bigger and better. JOB
You will be responsible for the implementation of new products, the improvement of existing products and alternations of production procedures.
Planning and organising maintenance
Taking responsibility over individual projects.
Collecting and analysing data to allow you to continuous improvement
Promoting the companies engineering best practice.
Supporting NI and also process introduction
Liaising with suppliers and customers
Ensuring Engineering KPIs are hit and exceeded.
The successful candidate will
Have experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA and 5s.
Previous experience as a Production Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer
Be confident using Microsoft Programmes
PLC Knowledge with Programming ability being desirable but not essential.
Be personable with existing and potential customers
Organised, experienced problem solver
Self-starter looking to excel.
