We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer to join a forward-thinking engineering business near Rochdale!
You should have the ability to provide engineering support to the production lines (Lean and CI knowledge is advantageous), have an excellent understanding of precision engineering/machine shops and be comfortable working with milling, turning and grinding machines.
CAD skills to create BOMs and basic drawings will be of real benefit.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career with an established international origination or an established engineer looking for their next challenge.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
* Produce process sheets including full component specification
* Ensure that new designs offer both machining and assembly best practice
* Schedule work across the machine shop
* In conjunction with fitters, electricians and supervisors, identify areas of build hour reductions

* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills and a logical mind
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships at all levels
* Ability to work within time constraints, sometimes under pressure
* Willingness to travel abroad (all expenses covered) and ability to work autonomously
