We are currently recruiting an additional Product Design Engineer to work closely with the Management Team and design products customers will love to buy. As Product Design Engineer you have some client involvement (taking their requirements in initial brief calls) and regular liaison with manufacturing (you’ll see the products you design being manufactured not long after you’ve finished the design work!) alongside the bread and butter of designing.

* Talking to clients about their requirements
* Designing products that bring them to reality
* Supporting the production teams throughout the build process with problem-solving solutions and your CAD skills
* Take ideas and nurture them right from the start and through to production, working with various design and production teams along the way
* You have strong research abilities that accompany your project designs, providing support and in-depth details where required

* Previous Product Design experience is essential
* A creative mindset, able to think of practical solutions to bring client expectations to reality
* Proficiency with SolidWorks, MS Office, Adobe Suite and Sketchup
* Design skills which take into account available production capability and final use of the product while working to budget
* Able to present designs to customers using visual representations
* Able to multi-task on several projects simultaneously
