Manufacturing Futures is looking to appoint a PCB Engineer for our client based in South Yorkshire who are going through a period of sustained growth. The successful candidate will be able to perform PCB repair and perform root cause analyses. You will also be responsible for the disassemble electronic assemblies and have experience soldering. You will be joining fantastic company with a great reputation looking to increase in size due to demand.
PCB Repair Engineer – Role and Responsibilities – Evaluation Engineer, Repair, Fault Finding, Diagnostics, PCB, Surface Mount
Electronic Assembly / Disassembling
– Working out of the companies in house repair facility
– Working closely with internal and external stakeholders
– Understanding of FMEA
– Strong soldering skills
– Test and repair PCBs from Surface Mount Technology production machinery
– Liaise with all internal departments, in particular: Contact Centre, Returns, Product and Stores in relation to customer orders
PCB Engineer – Skills and Abilities – Evaluation Engineer, Repair, Fault Finding, Diagnostics, PCB, Surface Mount
– Ability to diagnose and repair to component level on PCBs and Surface Mount electronics
– Excellent communicator with good spoken English and interpersonal skills
– Ability to be flexible and adapt to quickly changing priorities
