Futures are recruiting on behalf of an established FMCG Manufacturing business in West Yorkshire.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer/Payroll Clerk/Payroll Administrator to join a reputable, growing FMCG business.
As Payroll Officer/Payroll Administrator you will join a team responsible for weekly, monthly and 4 weekly payroll for circa 600 members of staff. You will need to have at least 2 years of experiencing working in payroll in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Payroll Officer duties will include
Dealing with payroll queries for 600+ employees via email and phone including recalculating salaries, maternity pay, overpayments and tax issues.
Will need to have experience of calculating tax from previous years, converting Net to Gross and Gross to Net, pensions, calculating SSP and have knowledge of tax codes.
The ideal candidate will have experience in dealing with Payroll queries in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
The role involves agency checking, lots of excel work, KPI reporting, data entry and much more.
This is a Monday to Friday days based position and will give someone the opportunity to join a reputable business and be part of a fun but busy HR function.
