You need previous experience of assembling electrical and electronic products (controllers and control panels) in a manual production environment. Panel Wirer – Role – Electrical Assembler, Sub-assemblies, Soldering, Electronics, Controllers, Looms, HV, LV, Panels
* The Electrical Assembler will work within the Controller team to manufacture a wide variety of Low and High voltage production electrical harnesses, components and control panels
* The role will require occasional overtime to be worked to meet production / customer delivery dates
* To support the electrical assembly of HV/ LV cables looms and components as well as control panels
Panel Wirer – Responsibilities – Electrical Assembler, Sub-assemblies, Soldering, Electronics, Controllers, Looms, HV, LV, Panels
* Manufacture of Control Panels, cables and harnesses to schematic and Assembly drawings
* Testing of manufactured harnesses; working to SOPs and test documentation whilst accurately recording information
* Supporting the team in manufacturing sub system components like LV / HV distribution boxes and control panels
* Liaising with seniors and engineering to develop prototype harnesses
* Maintaining a safe, neat work area which complies with a lean manufacturing environment
Panel Wirer – Skills and Abilities – Electrical Assembly, Sub-assemblies, Soldering, Electronics, Controllers, Looms, HV, LV, Panels
* Dedicated, can-do attitude is a must
* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, desired
* Experience manufacturing HV harnesses/ cable looms
* Experience using a variety of electrical terminations and tooling
* Experience with dry soldering is desired
* Working in a demanding environment meeting deadlines
* Working on their own and as part of a wider team
* Producing work to a high-quality standard; replicating this standard on each build
