We are currently recruiting for a Process Driven Operations Manager to work with an SME manufacturer in WF15!
The role will include control over Production, Dispatch and Facilities and you will report to the Operations Director Designate.
Responsibilities (non-exhaustive):
– Deliver on the operational KPIs for the site whilst simultaneously further developing a culture of engagement and improvement
– Lead colleagues throughout operations to contribute effectively to the growth strategy of the business
– Deliver on the long-term vision of the company and implement cultural change around engagement and workforce satisfaction
– Firm handle on day-to-day activity and is comfortable in the detail of such
– Flexible attitude on a day-to-day basis. Firm and persistent when expressing views but a good listener comfortable changing course if given compelling reasons
– Ensure Health and Safety procedures are being adhered to
Skills and Experience:
– Track record of developing a culture of improvement
– Prior experience working for an SME manufacturer in a management post
– Gravitas to lead a large team. Comfortable from shop floor to board room
– Relationship builder able to increase cooperation across departments
– “Can Do” attitude, makes things happen
– Like to be highly visible
