Futures are working on an exciting National Account Manager role on behalf of a fast-growing FMCG business! Established in 2015 this business has a market-leading product range containing 100% natural ingredients.
Since 2015 they have taken the market by storm with strong listings with the likes of; Asda, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Amazon.
Due to growth, they are expanding and looking for a National Account Manager to oversee their existing Grocery business as well as win new business across UK retail.
There will also be the opportunity to grow the Sales team, building a team of direct reports.
This is a step-in-stone into a Head of Sales within 18 months with progression to a Sales Director role in the future.
Your Specific Responsibilities:
– Build strong customer account relationships with top-tier customers across Grocery and High Street
– Bringing new products to fruition, including new product development, packaging and new line forms
– Work cross-functionally with the Brand and Marketing team on product management and successful activation and promotion in-store
– Present to buyers at key periods & input into the promotional calendar
– Regular customer contact to create mutually beneficial business relationships
– Maintain and grow existing key accounts in volume, value & margin to achieve budgeted sales and margin targets
Your Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:
– A minimum of 3 years experience within National Accounts
– Experience within Grocery
– Proven track record in increasing sales turnover & revenue and growth
– Experience in selling into retail is essential
– Know how to cost a product from scratch
– Understand critical path management
– Energetic and motivated sales professional with passion and hunger to deliver
