Futures Manufacturing are working with our client who helps to create a better built environment, by developing and producing sustainable solutions to the key challenges faced in water, climate, and ventilation management.
They are looking to appoint a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer working a 3 week shift pattern of Earlies, Afters and Nights
The Role includes but is not limited to the following:
To work very closely with the Engineering Maintenance Team and the Automation Project Engineer.
To Maintain and support with existing automation onsite, and new automation in order to improve operational productivity & cost.
You will also provide technical support for all aspects of on-site automation relating to programming, training, and fault finding.
Knowledge, experience, skillset requirements:
Hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical circuits, electronics, mechanics and computers.
HNC level in electrical, mechanical or computer engineering
PLC logic and programming
Communicate with internal stakeholders / project teams and external integrators and suppliers of automation equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform complex system tests
Math and analytical skills
Organisational and prioritisation skills
Machine / automation safety requirements (IOSH or similar training.
Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulation (PUWER)
May need to travel to suppliers / integrators to progress projects
Training to build knowledge in automation related areas and to use this knowledge to develop our onsite engineering / production teams
