Shift – 4 on 4 off (Nights only) Can be flexible on start times
Salary – Up to 45k DOE (good benefits + Flexible OT Available.

Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will take responsibility for both reactive and preventative maintenance duties within a fast paced manufacturing environment. As a key and valued member of the engineering team you will share responsibility for achieving budgeted machine performance targets, and ensuring machines are kept running to peak performance.
Key Responsibilities:
– Regular planned maintenance
– General repairs and machine breakdowns helping to guarantee the safety of all staff and limiting line downtime thus increasing productivity
– Carrying out fault finding diagnosis / repairs on equipment
– Mechanical / Electrical Maintenance on plant
– Continuous improvements (identifying new methods and procedures, that could improve production)
– Ensure accurate & timely records are entered / recorded of all work carried out
Successful Maintenance Engineer will have:
– Previous experience in FMCG Manufacturing, Food Manufacturing, Manufacturing environment of any sort.
– Time served apprenticeship in engineering discipline, holding an Mechanical or Electrical Engineering HND / HNC / NVQ / ONC / Level 3 qualification or higher.
– Proactive mindset, foreseeing any possible issues.
– logical thinker with several years proven engineering experience.
