We are excited to be assisting a Southeast council in their search for a Microsoft Infrastructure Consultant to help assist their infrastructure team!
You will provide specialist advice, mentorship and assistance on the data centre migration. This role will be very hands-on.
Start: ASAP
Initial contract term: 3 months
Location: Hybrid to on-site expectation (Southeast England)
Day Rate: TBC | Inside IR35
Your Responsibilities:
– Overseeing the data centre migration
– Ensure data centre plans are validated
– Mentorship for the core team
– Manage project documentation
Your Qualifications/Experience:
– MSCE qualified
– Information Systems Security experience
– Extensive understanding of the following: Hyper-V server, Azure, VLAN/VPM configuration, M365 and exchange
– Experience within the Public Sector in the last 3 years (Council experience advantageous)
– Project Management/ITIL certifications – desirable
